Person#2 "Have you noticed...we're kind of drifting? Like we're not that close anymore" Now it's imprinted on my brain

Drifting already? After one failed mission (I tend not to use this word much), and after JUST month ? Just two days ago we where talking on the phone till 4 in the morning, just 4 days ago I skipped violin, and lied about volunteering for a charity just to hang out. I honestly wish this doesn't happen, because really you guys are the closest friend's I have. Please tell me this is just us being melodramatic.
